About Us
Gerald Thoburn Maths tutor
My name is Gerald Thoburn, and I am a maths tutor in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. My passion for mathematics has been a lifelong journey, leading me to earn a degree in Mathematics and pursue a career in education. I firmly believe that every student has the potential to excel in maths with the right guidance and support.
I am currently accepting new students, offering tailored tuition to help them build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and improve their performance—whether they need extra support with schoolwork or are preparing for important exams such as GCSEs and A-Levels. My approach is patient, structured, and adaptable to each student’s unique learning style.
Although I am based in the Midlands, I provide high-quality UK-wide maths tutoring through interactive online sessions. My goal is to make maths accessible and enjoyable, helping students not only achieve their academic targets but also develop a deeper appreciation for the subject.
